RUWBB Triumphs Over the Point Skyhawks!!

West Point, GA - The Eagles triumphed over the Point University Skyhawks with a final score of 87-52. This improves their record to 10-5 overall and 7-1 in their conference!
The Eagles set the pace from the start, leading the first quarter with an layup by Emariah Grant and an early three-pointer from I'ziah McCutchins. Their relentless offense, highlighted by Taylor Collins and Audrey Ekouye-Bla, saw the Eagles closing the first period with a substantial 30-13 lead.
The second quarter continued to underscore Reinhardt's dominance, furthered by key free throws from Emariah Grant and Mackenzie Franklin, and a great defensive effort led by Chloe VanDyke. By halftime, Reinhardt had established a commanding 52-22 lead over the Skyhawks.
The third quarter saw continued dominance from Taylor Collins and crucial defensive plays, including multiple steals from Emariah Grant, pushing the Eagles' lead to a staggering 42 points by period's end.
Despite a spirited attempt by Point University in the final quarter, spearheaded by Madison Nesbit's scoring efforts, the Eagles maintained their lead and concluded the game with a 35-point advantage, the final score standing at 87-52.
Top performers for Reinhardt included Emariah Grant, who not only led with 12 points but also played a key role defensively, and Taylor Collins, contributing significantly with three-point shots. Chloe VanDyke and Mackenzie Franklin also stood out with aggressive rebounds and defensive plays.
Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to face the University of North Georgia in an exhibition game on Friday, December 19th, 2025, in Dahlonega, GA, intent on continuing their successful season trajectory in their final game of 2025!
