Burroughs Selected as MSC Defensive Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After a strong showing against No. 20 Kennesaw State of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision, Teon Burroughs of Reinhardt is once again the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Defensive Player of the Week after 11 total tackles against the Owls.

Teon Burroughs – Sr. – DL – Folkston, Ga.

• Burroughs led the Eagles' defensive front against 20^th-ranked FCS Kennesaw State (Ga.).
• The All-American collected 11 total tackles – five in the first half and six in the final two quarters.
• He collects the third MSC weekly honor of his career.

Warner (Fla.) comes to Ken White Field at University Stadium on Saturday for Reinhardt's home opener.

Kickoff is set for Noon.
