Eagles Fall in Out-of-Conference Match VS Tennessee Southern 3-1

Pulaski, TN – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team traveled to Tennessee for an out-of-conference match versus the Tennessee Southern Firehawks. While the Eagles fought back in all sets, they only managed to take one set off the Firehawks (1-3; 23-25, 21-25, 25-17, 19-25). Reinhardt's AAC Conference record remains the same at 9-3

Outstanding Performers:

• Katherine Perrin led the offense with a stand-out performance with 14 kills (.281), while Ambria Mcbride had 10 kills and Maria Cordova had 9.
• Maria Cordova also ended the match with 26 assist.
• Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 27 digs. Nunez also added 10 assists and 2 service aces. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

Even though Reinhardt managed to be ahead in almost every statistical category, the Tennessee Southern team had less errors and more blocks in order to clinch this 4-set match.

• The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team will continue its conference play this coming Friday, October 14^th, versus the Union College Bulldogs. This match will be played at 6:30pm in Waleska, GA. This game also serves as "Neon Night" so show up wearing your bright colors, there will be free glow sticks and free popsicles being given away also.
