Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team gained momentum and kept it the whole match, sweeping the Columbia College Koalas at home. This Reinhardt team won the first-set 25-11, the second 25-9, and the third 25-19. The eagles improved to 8-3 in the AAC, while the Koalas fall to 9-0 in the conference.

- "It was great to finally be back at home after a few away matches to feel the energy on our home court. This was a great win for us as we have been trying to teach these girls how to play as a team rather than individuals. Tonight they did just that and for that, I am proud of them and how they took care of business this evening. Outstanding Performers:
- Allison Selway and Maria Piliposyans led the offense with 8 kills a piece. Selway finished the night with a .368, while Piliposyans hit a .600.
- Maria Cordova ended the match with 31 assist and Samantha Cramer had 11.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 23 digs. Claudia Klein also had a great defensive game with 19 digs.
- Makenzie Burke added 3 services aces as well.

UP NEXT:
- The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team look to win another AAC conference match versus Columbia International the next day, Saturday, October 7th, at 4pm. This is the second time, the Eagles has seen the Rams this season. The first match-up, CIU took the match 3-1 so the Eagles will also to get revenge over their upcoming opponents.
