Bio
Kate Gauntlett joins the Reinhardt University women’s lacrosse staff as the Assistant Offensive Coach, bringing an accomplished collegiate career and a passion for developing dynamic scorers. Originally from Dawsonville, Georgia, Kate began her college career at Arizona State University, competing at the Division I level for two years before transferring to Montreat College, where she became one of the most decorated players in program and NAIA history.
During her three years at Montreat, Kate surpassed career milestones of 200 goals, 100 assists, and 300 points. In 2022, she etched her name in the record books by setting the NAIA single-season goal record with 114 goals, while also breaking Montreat’s single-season records for both goals and points. Her offensive dominance earned her multiple accolades, including NAIA First Team All-American in 2022, AAC Player of the Year in 2024, and First Team All-AAC honors in both 2022 and 2023. She was also recognized as AAC Offensive Player of the Week five times and IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week twice.
