Reinhardt Women's Golf Closes Season at AAC Women’s Golf Championship
Acworth, GA - Reinhardt Women's Golf wrapped up its season Wednesday at the 2026 AAC Women's Golf Championship, posting a three-round team total of 430 at Governor's Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia. Samantha Roper led the Eagles individually, finishing 18th at 30-over, while Isabella Mobley placed 23rd at 35-over and Addy Anderson finished 30th at 70-over.
The Eagles improved their team score in each round of the par-72 event on the 5,931-yard layout, opening with a 162 before cutting that number to 142 in the second round and 126 in the final round. That steady drop was one of the clearest signs of Reinhardt's day-to-day progress in the conference tournament, even as the team finished outside the top of the standings.
Roper turned in Reinhardt's best individual showing. She shot 12-over in the first round, 10-over in the second, and closed with her best round of the tournament at 8-over. That final-round score helped secure her 18th-place finish and gave the Eagles their top performance of the championship.
Mobley followed a similar pattern. After opening at 16-over, she shaved five strokes in the second round with an 11-over score and matched Roper's final-round 8-over effort to finish 23rd overall at 35-over. Anderson carded rounds of 22-over, 26-over, and 22-over to place 30th. Reinhardt Women's Volleyball player, Jenna Smith, also filled a roster spot for Reinhardt during the tournament, though no individual score was provided. Smith was an all-conference performer for Eagles Volleyball, but gave her services to the golf team to help them through the conference tournament.
The Eagles' strongest stretch came late, when both Roper and Mobley produced their best rounds in the final 18 holes, and the team posted its lowest score of the event in Round 3.
The AAC championship marked the end of the 2025-26 season for Reinhardt Women's Golf. According to the event summary, the program plans to add incoming freshmen next year after closing this season with its top two finishers, Roper and Mobley, both ending the tournament with 8-over final rounds.
The Eagles go into the postseason with three solid golfers who will take the experience they gained this past year into the 2026-27 school year. As the team adds new freshmen and possible transfers to this roster, the newcomers will be in good hands with the three veterans who will be there to lead them.
