Top 4 Seeds Advance to Semifinal Round

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The top four seeds all moved on in the opening round of the 2022 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis Tournament on Thursday.

The tournament is being held at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

All four matches went fairly quickly as the top three seeds - Tennessee Wesleyan, Montreat, and Union - all won in a sweep. No. 4 seed Reinhardt dropped one point in a 4-1 contest to fifth-seeded Point.

The semifinal round begins Friday at 2 p.m.

Thursday, April 14 - All Matches will not begin before 2 p.m.
Match 1 - No. 1 Tennessee Wesleyan vs. No. 8 Johnson, 4-0
Match 2 - No. 2 Montreat vs. No. 7 SCAD Atlanta, 4-0
Match 3 - No. 3 Union vs. No. 6 Milligan, 4-0
Match 4 - No. 4 Reinhardt vs. No. 5 Point, 4-1

Friday, April 15 - All Matches will not begin before 2 p.m.
Match 5 - No. 1 Tennessee Wesleyan vs. No. 4 Reinhardt
Match 6 - No. 2 Montreat vs. No. 3 Union

Saturday, April 16 - Match will not begin before 2 p.m.
Match 7 - Championship Match - Match 5 Winner vs. Match 6 Winner
