Eagles Start the 2025 Season with a Tournament Title
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Men's Golf picked up right where they left off from the 2024-25 season with another tournament title. For the second year in a row, Reinhardt Golf hosted the Eagle Open to kick off the 2025 Fall Golf season.
Pride Dyer had a tremendous start, shooting a negative six over the entire tournament. His three-round total was -2 in the first round, even in round two, and -4 in the third round. Zane May had two of the best final two rounds, shooting -5 in both of those rounds, pushing him into second place, just two strokes behind Dyer.
Last year's AAC Freshman of the Year, Trey Schmidt, placed fourth overall and had a solid +1 overall. He shot +1 in his first round and then even in rounds one and two.
Alec Strickland and MJ Hodge finished out the five Eagles in the top ten of the tournament. Strickland was +3 overall in fifth place, and Hodge was +4 in seventh place.
It was a great start for the Eagles as they prepare for another year of golf. There are no seniors on this team, which means Eagles fans can enjoy years of superb golf.
