Eagles Golf Tied for 3rd Place at TWU Tournament

Vonore, TN - Reinhardt Men's Golf competed in the Tennessee Wesleyan University Bojangles Intercollegiate Tournament where they were able to finish in third place out of twelve total teams. There were several AAC teams and a few out-of-conference teams competing as well so this is a good indicator of where the team is going into the spring conference season and the AAC Fall Preview which will take place on Oct. 17th & 18th in Seneca, SC.

This tournament was held at Links of Kahite Golf Club in Vonore, TN and it was a beautiful weekend for playing golf.

Hunter Clay was the top Eagle for this tournament where he had a great weekend on the course. He shot 75, 77, and 70 for his three rounds. In the last round on Sunday, Clay shot a 70 which is 2 under par. Brooks Gineris was just behind Clay in the 8th position where he shot a 223 overall and just one stroke behind Clay.

Chanc Willis and Dalton Hense followed not too far behind with total scores of 239 and 246.

The Eagles will play again at the AAC Fall Preview on Oct 17th & 18th and this will be their final tournament before they start to prepare for the main Spring season.
