Hunter Clay Lands a Spot on the NAIA All-American Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022 NAIA Men's Golf All-America teams, as selected by the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee. Three teams of 15 individuals were named to each to honor a total of 45 student-athletes.
Reinhardt's, Hunter Clay made 3rd Team All-American for the second year in a row. During the season, He had two individual wins and 4 All-Tournament team finishes (including his two wins) and finished the season ranked 101 in the country on Golfstat (all classifications).
At Reinhardt, he broke the "single-season birdie" record and he broke his own record set last year which was the "low 72 hole total" record. He is tied with the "career rounds played" record as a redshirt junior. He should have the record plus more as he goes into his senior season.
Clay led the Eagles to the AAC title in early May, which gave them an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships. At the NAIA Nationals Championships, Clay finished in 10th position overall in the entire NAIA.
