Golf Rises to No. 19 in NAIA Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After slipping to the 25th position in the last rankings, Reinhardt men's golf jumped up six spots in the newest NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll to No. 19, the NAIA national office in Kansas City, Mo., announced Friday.
The Eagles grabbed 192 voting points in the rating.

Most recently, the hometown team hit the links for the final time last Tuesday as the Eagles came in third place out of 12 teams in the AAC Spring Championship at Barnsley Gardens Resort.
The third overall placement as a group turned in a card of 43-over-par (907) during the three-round event.
Individually, the hometown team saw a trio of players finish in the top eight. Brooks Gineris led the way for Reinhardt with rounds of 75, 73 and 74 to earn sixth place at plus-6.
Both Chanc Willis (T8) and Christopher Whitney (T8) got into the clubhouse with overall totals of 9-over-par.
Not to be outdone, Dalton Henson finished in 29th (+22) and Jack Haller placed in the top 40 (39th; +28).
The club now awaits the field announcement for the 69th Annual Men's Golf National Championship, which takes place on May 18-21 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
