Brown Earns NAIA Defensive Player of the Week Honors After Stellar Rebounding Effort

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Derrick Brown controlled the boards last week for the Eagles of Reinhardt (Ga.), earning him the Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week award.
Over three games last week, Brown owned the glass, averaging 11 boards per game for a total of 33, including 24 defensive rebounds.
He also got it done elsewhere on the court, recording six total steals and a trio of blocks, helping his team go 3-0 last week.
Brown and the Eagles are back in action on Dec. 10 at Union Commonwealth (Ky.) before returning home for a game against Columbia International (S.C.).
