Waleska, GA - It was just over a week ago when Coach James Miller made the announcement that he had two All-Americans honored by the NAIA and AFCF - defensive lineman Teon Burroughs and offensive lineman John Cano. The announcement released on Monday, December 20th revealed that Cano had been selected again - but this time as an Associated Press (AP) All-American. This was voted on nationwide by the AP writers that cover NAIA football. Coach Miller is quoted saying, "this is a HUGE accomplishment for our program and this young man." Cano makes the list as a member of the AP Second Team All-American as one of seven offensive linemen.
John Cano is a junior for the Reinhardt Eagles where he excels in the classroom as a biology major with over a 3.0 GPA. The coaching staff is extremely proud of Cano's accomplishments both on and off the field. They look forward to seeing him play another football season in 2022, which will be here before you know it.
Congratulations John Cano! The Eagle Nation is proud of you!
