Head Coach James Miller named Ron Finley Appalachian Division Coach of the Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Reinhardt's (Ga.) Teon Burroughs and Bluefield's (Va.) Jaquon Ebron lead the 2021 All-Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division teams, conference officials announced on Thursday. Pioneer College Caterers is the official sponsor of the 2021 Mid-South Conference football awards. Pioneer College Caterers is an organization committed to providing for the food service needs of Christian colleges and universities.

Reinhardt ranks 12th nationally, allowing 15.7 points per game, while creating 31 turnovers (16 interceptions) and giving up only 301.5 yards per outing. The Eagles also have 27 sacks and four defensive touchdowns in 11 contests.

The individual awards and all-conference teams are selected by a vote of the Appalachian Division's coaches. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players.

Reinhardt head coach James Miller was voted the Ron Finley Appalachian Division Coach of the Year for the fifth consecutive season, leading the Eagles to a 9-2 overall record, 6-0 in the Appalachian Division, and a No. 6 national ranking. Reinhardt's only losses this season came at NCAA FCS Kennesaw State and at Bethel (Tenn.) by one point.

"Super excited to have 8 guys make 1st and 2nd team all conference." Head Coach Miller said. "Teon Burroughs has made his 4th 1st Team all-conference and Jake Brock made his 3rd 1st Team all Conference at their positions a lot of respect throughout the conference for those guys.

I'm super proud of there efforts and hard work. It's 3rd time for Billy Hall making all conference team what a great career for that young man. Proud of all guys Devyn Collins, John Cano, Dylan Kelly, Kenneth lowery. Key Whitlock, Logan Garner, Isaiah Blake, Herve Aklotsoe, Jon Perry, Malik Brown, Jacorris Lamar, and Kellen Neal these players have stepped up all year for us along with the rest of Reinhardt football team.

I know they would say nothing is possible without all of their teammates. What a job by our coaching staff, as well. This is a family and nothing is possible without everyone involved, we are blessed to coach these young men at this great University."

Twenty-eight players earned first-team all-conference honors and 30 were selected second-team all-conference as voted on by the coaches. Ties for all-conference teams were not broken.

2021 First Team All Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division:
