Waleska, Ga. - The Reinhardt University women's soccer team celebrated a significant victory in their conference soccer game against Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday night, in Waleska, GA. The Eagles secured a tight 1-0 triumph in this AAC matchup, enhancing their season record to 4-3-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the conference.
From the beginning, the game was tense, with Reinhardt creating multiple opportunities. The decisive moment came early when Reese Wise scored the first and only goal at 14:29, putting Reinhardt ahead. The halftime score reflected Reinhardt's slim lead, 1-0, thanks to Wise's goal.
Defensively, goaltender Reagan Horton was vital for the Eagles, making 11 saves and preserving the shutout.
