PISGAH FOREST, N.C. -- The Reinhardt University women's golf squad wrapped up its 2011 fall season on Tuesday at the Montreat College Fall Invitational/Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Tournament with a 36-hole score of 724 and fourth-place finish of five teams. The two-day event was held at the par-72, 6000-yard Glen Cannon Country Club.
 The Eagles' Zach Lindsey was the medalist in Kentucky on Tuesday after a sizzling 5-under-par 139 for 36 holes.

PINEVILLE, Ky. -- On Monday and Tuesday, both the Reinhardt University men's and women's golf teams competed in the Union College (Ky.) Bulldog Invitational, a 36-hole event, at Wasioto Winds Golf Club. In the men's competition, Zach Lindsey led Reinhardt to a runner-up finish among seven teams by capturing medalist honors while the women's squad was paced by all-tournament selection Kayla Smith, who ended in third place.
 Reinhardt's Zach Lindsey fired a 4-under-par 140 for second place among 110 golfers at Coosa Country Club.

ROME, Ga. -- Both the Reinhardt University men's and women's golf teams participated in the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Berry College, on Monday and Tuesday at two different courses. The men's tournament was held at the 6924-yard Coosa Country Club while the women's event took place at the 5793-yard Stonebridge Golf Club. Both layouts played to a par of 72.
 Reinhardt sophomore Makenzie Bruce set a school record by firing a 36-hole score of 165 on Sunday and Monday.

MACON, Ga. -- On Sunday, the Reinhardt University women's golf team opened its 2011-12 season at the Eat a Peach Collegiate, a two-day, 36-hole tournament hosted by the NCAA Division I Mercer University Lady Bears at the par-72, 6055-yard Oakview Golf and Country Club. Reinhardt tied for eighth place in the 10-team field with a 726 total, which is the best 36-hole score in the short history of the program.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Abbi Drew, from Savannah, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play golf for the Lady Eagles in 2011-12 under head coach Ken Dixon. Drew comes to Reinhardt from Calvary Day School in Savannah, where she played for head coach Jason Shell.
