WALESKA, Ga. -- Makenzie Bruce, from Canton, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play golf for the Lady Eagles in 2010-11 under head coach Ken Dixon. The 5-foot-6 Bruce comes to Reinhardt from Sequoyah High School in Canton, where she played for head coach Kathryn Lockrem.

PINEVILLE, Ky. -- Behind medalist Zach Lindsey, a freshman, the Reinhardt College men's golf squad captured the tournament championship by 33 shots with a 587 (+11) total at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Union College (Ky.). The two-day, 36-hole event was held at the par-72, 7026-yard Wasioto Winds Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday with three teams taking part.
