WALESKA, Ga. -- Eryn Speer, from Loganville, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University next fall and run cross country for the Lady Eagles in 2012 under head coach Dianna Hinton. The 5-foot-5 Speer comes to Reinhardt from Loganville High School, where she competed for head coach Kevin Johnson.
Reinhardt's Melissa Blumer, a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete last year, earned a spot on the 2011 AAC All-Academic Team.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Three members of the 2011 Reinhardt University men's and women's cross country squads were recently named to their respective Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Academic Teams. To be recognized as a part of the all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or better and be at least a sophomore in academic status.
The Eagles were selected as the conference's Champions of Character team for 2011.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Reinhardt University cross country student-athletes Daniel Guerrero and Linda Rongoey were each named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for men's and women's cross country, respectively, for their performances between Oct. 3-9. It marks the first time that either runner has earned the weekly conference honor.
