ATLANTA -- The Reinhardt University men's lacrosse team, with first-year head coach John Snow at the helm, started its 2012 season on the road with a 13-7 win over the host Emory University Eagles on Saturday afternoon in a Southeastern Lacrosse Conference Southwest Division game. Reinhardt, which is in its third year of playing intercollegiate men's lacrosse, lost 16-4 (last season) and 17-2 (in 2010) in its two previous meetings with Emory.

WALESKA, Ga. -- John Snow has joined the Reinhardt University athletic department as its new head men's lacrosse coach. He is responsible for directing all aspects of Reinhardt's intercollegiate men's lacrosse program, which is currently in its third year and competes as a member of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association and Southeastern Lacrosse Conference.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Avery Benthall, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound attackman from Marietta, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play lacrosse for the Eagles in the spring of 2012. Benthall comes to Reinhardt from Alan C. Pope High School in Marietta, where he played for head coach Carl Pfaff.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Richard Maneen, a 5-foot-8, 140-pound attackman from Woodstock, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play lacrosse for the Eagles in the spring of 2012. Maneen comes to Reinhardt from Woodstock High School, where he played for head coach Josh Sailers.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- On Sunday afternoon, the Reinhardt University men's lacrosse team concluded its 2011 season with a 13-8 loss to the host Wofford College Terriers in a non-league game at the Wofford Intramural Fields.
