WALESKA, Ga. -- Courtney Garrett, from Bowdon, Ga., has signed an athletic grant-in-aid to attend Reinhardt College and play tennis for the Lady Eagles in spring 2010 under head coach Jennifer Sackman. Garrett will come to Reinhardt in January as a transfer from NCAA Division II University of West Georgia, which does not offer a women's intercollegiate tennis program. She is a graduate of Bowdon High School, where she played for head coach Sheila Reed.

ROME, Ga. -- On Friday morning in their respective Southern States Athletic Conference Championships, the Reinhardt College men's and women's tennis teams lost to nationally ranked foes in first-round tournament action to conclude their 2009 seasons. Shorter College is hosting both events.

WALESKA, Ga. -- The Reinhardt College men's and women's tennis teams concluded their regular seasons on Saturday by hosting Southern States Athletic Conference matches with the Emmanuel College Lions and Lady Lions, respectively. Reinhardt's women claimed an 8-1 victory over Emmanuel while the men's squad dropped an 8-1 decision to the Lions.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- On the road in Southern States Athletic Conference play, the Reinhardt College women's tennis team registered a 5-4 win over the Columbia College Fighting Koalas on Wednesday afternoon.

WALESKA, Ga. -- The women's and men's tennis teams at Reinhardt College have recently announced changes to their schedules. The Lady Eagles' Southern States Athletic Conference match at the Columbia (S.C.) College Fighting Koalas, originally scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m., has been pushed back to Wednesday at the same time. Also, the Reinhardt men will now host a non-conference match with the LaGrange College Panthers, an NCAA Division III opponent, on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. The men's match was postponed earlier in the season.
