WALESKA, Ga. -- In the 2012 NAIA Softball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll, the Reinhardt University softball team is ranked 19th in the country after receiving 239 points. Reinhardt was rated No. 13 (405 points) in the final 2011 regular-season poll.

WALESKA, Ga. -- On Thursday night during the volleyball match between Berry College and Reinhardt University at the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center, members of Reinhardt's 2011 softball team were honored and presented their championship rings after claiming both the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles in April. The Lady Eagles moved on to make their first-ever appearance at the NAIA Softball National Championship.

WALESKA, Ga. -- London Germ, a 5-foot-6 outfielder from Chattanooga, Tenn., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt University in the fall and play softball for the Lady Eagles in 2012 under head coach Glen Crawford, the 2010 and 2011 Appalachian Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Germ, who has three seasons of eligibility remaining, is a transfer from Chattanooga State Community College. She is a 2010 graduate of nearby Creekview High School in Canton, Ga., where she played for head coach Mike Nayman.
 Head softball coach Glen Crawford will be taking over the areas of compliance and eligibility in athletics at Reinhardt.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Glen Crawford, Reinhardt University's head softball coach since August 2007, has been promoted within the athletic department. Effective July 1, Crawford's title changes to head softball coach/assistant athletic director-compliance, Reinhardt athletic director Bill Popp recently announced.
