COLUMBUS, Ga. -- The Reinhardt College baseball team, the No. 6 seed, had its 2009 season end on Friday afternoon with a 14-4 loss in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament to the top-seeded Berry College Vikings, ranked fourth nationally in the NAIA. The eight-team, double-elimination tournament is being played at the Golden Park Complex.

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- On Thursday night in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament, the No. 6 seed Reinhardt College baseball team dropped a 12-2 decision to the No. 2 seeded Southern Polytechnic State University Runnin' Hornets, ranked sixth nationally in the NAIA. The eight-team, double-elimination event is taking place at the Golden Park Complex.
 Brad Blalock homered, drew two walks and scored a pair of runs in the Eagles' thrilling, extra-inning win on Wednesday.

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- In the opening round of the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday afternoon, the No. 6 seed Reinhardt College baseball team upset the No. 3 seeded Lee University Flames -- ranked eighth nationally in the NAIA -- by the score of 6-5 in 12 innings in a game that lasted four hours and 18 minutes. The double-elimination tournament is being held at the Golden Park Complex.
 Michael Willis is the lone Reinhardt player to earn All-SSAC honors in 2009.

WALESKA, Ga. -- One member of the 2009 Reinhardt College baseball team was honored with a postseason award from the Southern States Athletic Conference on Tuesday night. In a vote of the conference's 10 head coaches, Reinhardt's Michael Willis was one of 17 players chosen to receive First Team All-SSAC recognition.

WALESKA, Ga. -- On its annual Senior Day on Friday afternoon, the Reinhardt College baseball team defeated the Southern Polytechnic State University Runnin' Hornets, ranked fourth nationally in the NAIA, by the score of 2-1 before losing 9-3 in a Southern States Athletic Conference doubleheader at the Jim & Syble Boring Sports Complex.
