MONTREAT, N.C. -- In an Appalachian Athletic Conference road game on Saturday afternoon, the Reinhardt College women's basketball team came up just short in a 57-56 loss to the Montreat College Lady Cavaliers at McAlister Gymnasium.

BLUEFIELD, Va. -- Away from home on Wednesday, the Reinhardt College women's basketball team dropped an Appalachian Athletic Conference game to the Bluefield College Lady Rams by the score of 65-55 at Dome Gymnasium.

MURPHY, N.C. -- Kareen Abling, a 5-foot-7 guard from Murphy, N.C., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt College in the fall and play basketball for the Lady Eagles during the 2010-11 season under head coach Amanda Clonts. Abling will come to Reinhardt from Hiwassee Dam High School in Murphy, the same school Clonts attended, where she played for head coach Chris Reynolds.

WALESKA, Ga. -- Reinhardt College's home Appalachian Athletic Conference basketball games with Virginia Intermont College, slated for this Saturday at 4 p.m. (women's contest) and 6 p.m. (men's game), have been postponed due to wintry weather throughout the Southeast. The AAC doubleheader is rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 8 with the women's contest set for 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's matchup at 7:30.
