Shastin Rader is a 2004 graduate of Palmetto High School. Rader was a member of the volleyball, softball, soccer, and weightlifting team for the Tigers. Rader is the 4^th sibling out of 5 which include; brothers Jobe, Zach, and Rhett followed by a lovely sister Tatum. The parents of this large family are Jeffery Rader and Sheri Rader.

Rader is a senior at Reinhardt College, and is studying business management. Her other activities include softball and FCA.

When Shastin is not being an athlete she likes to sit around the house and eat anything she wants. Being an athlete takes away the opportunity to eat GOOD food. When I get the chance to take advantage of eating I do. Something you may not know about Shastin is she is a VERY competitive person that hates to lose at ANY sport, that even includes under water basket weaving. That might be something that you don’t know about Shastin.

This is going to be my fourth year at Reinhardt College. Although, we have had our rough moments with the volleyball program, I enjoyed every moment that I got to spend on the court. Not only did I build as a player but in the long run I met some of my best friends that I will always remember. Being an athlete also improved a lot of things not only on the court but off the court also. If we had a problem with a subject then we new that one of our team mates were going to be right there to help us. Hopefully this year is going to be the building block for the volleyball program, the start of a new beginning.
