- If an athletic trainer is not present with your team, a member of Reinhardt's athletic training staff must have written or verbal permission from a certified athletic trainer in order to treat your student-athletes.
The athletic training room is located in Room 119 of the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center, just inside the gymnasium for basketball/volleyball.
The tennis courts are directly adjacent to the Brown Athletic Center and less than 200 yards from the athletic training room.
The soccer, baseball and softball fields are approximately one-quarter mile from the Brown Athletic Center. There is a walking path connecting these fields, however, we advise teams to stop by the training room for pre-game treatments before proceeding to the fields.

The Reinhardt University athletic training team is responsible for the management of all aspects of the student-athletes' health and safety. Management of the student-athletes' health and safety includes the prevention, recognition, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, as well as the referral of the student-athletes to appropriate specialized providers. As an institution of higher learning, we strive to educate our student-athletes, coaches and student trainers in all aspects of health and safety.
A major goal of the Reinhardt University athletic training office is to continue to improve the healthcare provided to the student-athletes. We are continually trying to upgrade the services we offer for student-athletes, as well as form partnerships with specialized providers within the community. In addition to working on injury-treatment issues, we have worked hard to provide a high-level, comprehensive pre-participation physical examination. Our student-athletes go through full medical screenings by a general practitioner as well as muscle, bone and joint screenings by an orthopeadic surgeon. The health and safety of our student-athletes is our highest priority.
Finally, we offer a secondary athletic injury insurance plan for all Reinhardt University student-athletes. This plan serves in addition to insurance already held by the student-athlete, unless the student-athlete is uninsured, at which time it becomes the primary insurance plan. The secondary insurance plan will only cover athletic injuries sustained while participating in a scheduled practice or game for Reinhardt University. We highly encourage all student-athletes to obtain primary insurance to cover any illnesses that occur while attending Reinhardt University or any injuries that occur outside of scheduled athletic events. For more information, please see the Secondary Insurance Acknowledgement under the "Forms" section on this page.
