WALESKA, Ga. -- Daniel Guerrero, from Woodstock, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt College in the fall and compete in cross country for the Eagles during the 2010 season under head coach Dianna Hinton Zima. The 5-foot-6, 123-pound Guerrero will come to Reinhardt from Etowah High School in Woodstock, where he ran for head coach Jesse Howard.
Guerrero, the son of Hector Guerrero and Maricela Uribe, earned two varsity letters in cross country and one in track at Etowah. As a junior, he earned the cross country team's Most Improved award.
"I like Reinhardt because of the size and because it's close to my home, as well," Guerrero said. "I really like the environment."
