WALESKA, Ga. -- Jordan Brittain, from McDonough, Ga., has signed a letter of intent to attend Reinhardt College in the fall and compete in cross country for the Lady Eagles during the 2010 season under head coach Dianna Hinton Zima. The 5-foot-4 Brittain will come to Reinhardt from Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, where she ran for head coach Michael Bowen.
Brittain, the daughter of Mark and Connie Brittain, attended Eagle's Landing Christian the last three years, earning two varsity letters in cross country. An honor student at ELCA, she was also a member of the Lady Chargers' track team under head coach Scott Queen, taking part in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs. Brittain earned her team's Most Improved award in cross country as a junior and in track as a sophomore.
"I love cross country and I just feel like this is where God wants me, and I'm excited about it," Brittain said. "I've heard great things about Reinhardt."
