WALESKA, Ga. -- Reinhardt College women's golfer Megan Lane was recently honored with a postseason award from the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
Lane, a 5-foot-4 junior from Cartersville, Ga., earned Second Team All-AAC recognition for 2010. She received the honor mainly on the strength of her runner-up finish among 17 players at the AAC Fall Tournament, a 27-hole event held on Oct. 13 at Crooked Creek Golf Club in Hendersonville, N.C. Lane participated in all six tournaments in 2009-10 and was the first player signed by head coach Ken Dixon when the Reinhardt women's golf program began in 2007. Since that time, she has been a steady performer for the Lady Eagles over the last three seasons.
