Reinhardt Women Run Well In Macon
Reinhardt Women’s XC 8th at Georgia Championships
Macon, Georgia
The Lady Eagles ran aggressively and finished 8th out of 20 teams at the Georgia Collegiate Championships held in Macon on Saturday.
On a day perfect for competition Frosh Nicole Davis again led the way with her 22nd place finish (20:36). Lauren Newman (49/21:52), Brooke Millard (54/22:01), Meredith Head (75/23:07), Erika Miller (79/23:22) and Senior Adrienne Kinder (91/24:15) completed the scoring.
Five of the women ran their season’s best times and the team total time (top 5 runners) was over five minutes faster than their last outing two weeks previous – 1:51:42 versus 1:55:48. The improvement is a result of hard work and getting into competitive racing shape as the season progresses.
Next up for the Lady Eagles is the Georgia State Invitational on October 6th.
