WALESKA, Ga. -- On Monday night inside the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center, the Reinhardt College junior varsity men's basketball squad dropped a 79-58 decision to the visiting Gordon College Highlanders.
Reinhardt got off to a slow start and played catch-up the entire contest. Gordon made nine three-pointers on the evening with eight coming in the first half. The Eagles connected on seven three-point field goals, including five after halftime.
Joe Liptak scored 23 points for Reinhardt while Marcus Turner had eight. Jarrod Willis and Dan Merriman chipped win with six points apiece.
The Eagles will be at home against the Summer Hill Preparatory School Blue Devils next Monday at 8 p.m.
