WALESKA, Ga. -- Playing its second five-set match in back-to-back nights, the Reinhardt College volleyball team won the first two sets with the Brenau University Golden Tigers be falling 3-2 (15-25, 24-26, 25-16, 26-24, 15-12) in a non-conference contest on Wednesday inside the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center.  

Brenau ended with a .129 attack percentage (67 kills, 39 errors in 217 attempts) while Reinhardt was at .078 (45 kills, 28 errors in 219 attacks). The Lady Eagles collected nine service aces, compared to four for their guests.

Reinhardt had four players record double-doubles, including Sami Lane (15 kills, 21 digs), freshman Tori O'Brien (11 kills, 13 digs), Courtney Byrd (20 assists, 15 digs) and Isabela Costa (17 assists, 15 digs). Freshman Monica Kafka chipped in with 32 digs while freshman SaVanna Strickland came up with four total blocks (one solo and six block assists).

The Lady Eagles are 10-18 overall while the Golden Tigers move to 22-9. In its final regular season match on Friday, Reinhardt will host an Appalachian Athletic Conference contest with the Milligan College Lady Buffaloes at 7 p.m.
