WALESKA, Ga. -- Inside the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon, the Reinhardt College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-22) Appalachian Athletic Conference decision to the Bryan College Lady Lions.
Bryan finished with a .292 attack percentage (49 kills, 11 errors in 130 attempts) while Reinhardt was at .104 (32 kills, 18 errors in 134 attacks). The Lady Lions had 12 block assists and two solo blocks while the hosts ended with seven block assists.
Freshman Tori O'Brien collected seven kills and a match-high 18 digs for the Lady Eagles while Sami Lane produced seven kills and 14 digs. Freshman Monica Kafka came up with 17 digs while Isabela Costa added 14 assists.
Reinhardt falls to 9-16 overall and 7-7 in AAC play while Bryan moves to 18-12 overall, including 10-1 in the conference. The Lady Eagles will face the Shorter College Lady Hawks on the road on Tuesday. The non-conference match is set for 7 p.m. in Rome, Ga.
