BRISTOL, Tenn. -- On the road in a non-conference game, the Reinhardt College women's soccer team lost 4-0 to the King College Lady Tornado on Saturday afternoon.
King scored just 5:54 into the match and held on 1-0 lead at halftime. The Lady Tornado pulled away midway through the second half with goals at the 62:54, 66:43 and 78:44 marks.
Reinhardt got outshot 22-2, including 15-1 in the opening half. Both of the Lady Eagles' shots -- one in each half -- were on goal.
In goal for Reinhardt, Chelsea Bettis played all 90 minutes. She recorded six saves.
The Lady Eagles are 6-7 overall while King improves to 10-5. Reinhardt will be on the road for an Appalachian Athletic Conference game against the Bryan College Lady Lions on Wednesday. The match is slated for 7 p.m. in Dayton, Tenn.
