COLUMBIA, S.C. -- On the road in Southern States Athletic Conference play, the Reinhardt College women's tennis team registered a 5-4 win over the Columbia College Fighting Koalas on Wednesday afternoon.
Reinhardt got singles victories from Bekah Dalfonso at No. 1 (6-0, 6-1), Mandy Renta at No. 2 (6-2, 6-0), Kasey Nichols at No. 4 (6-2, 6-2) and Kristie Spivey at No. 5 (6-2, 6-0). The top doubles team of Dalfonso and Renta also posted an 8-0 win.
The Lady Eagles improve to 4-7 overall and 1-5 in the SSAC while Columbia drops to 4-10 overall and 1-6 in conference matches. Reinhardt is slated to conclude its regular season with an SSAC home match with the Emmanuel College Lady Lions on Saturday at 10 a.m.
