ROME, Ga. -- On Monday and Tuesday, three members of the Reinhardt College women's golf program competed in the Stonebridge Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the Berry College Lady Vikings, a Southern States Athletic Conference foe ranked No. 6 nationally in the NAIA. The two-day, 36-hole tournament was held at the par-72, 5839-yard Stonebridge Golf Club.
Of Reinhardt's players, Megan Lane led the way by shooting 103-97--200 for 36th place among 48 participants. Jesse Larson and Katie Cash also represented the Lady Eagles. NCAA Division III Birmingham-Southern College won the team championship with 312-304--616, defeating nationally rated NAIA teams from Savannah College of Art and Design (13th), host Berry and SSAC member Shorter College (24th).
Reinhardt is slated to take part in the SSAC Championship on April 20-21 at Coosa Country Club in Rome. Berry will again serve as host of the event.
