MOUNT BERRY, Ga. -- On the road against two of the top teams in the nation on Wednesday afternoon, the Reinhardt College men's and women's tennis teams each dropped a Southern States Athletic Conference match by a 9-0 score to the Berry College Vikings and Lady Vikings, respectively, at Richards Tennis Complex. Berry's women are ranked No. 3 nationally in the NAIA while the men's squad is rated 16th.
Reinhardt's women dip to 3-7 overall and 0-5 in the SSAC while the Lady Vikings are 8-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. For the men, the Eagles are 0-7 overall and 0-4 in SSAC matches while Berry is 3-3 overall, including 2-0 in the conference. The Lady Eagles will play an SSAC match at the Columbia College Fighting Koalas next Tuesday, April 14. The match is set for 2 p.m. in Columbia, S.C.
