TIGERVILLE, S.C. -- On Saturday afternoon, the Reinhardt College women's basketball squad fell 77-58 to the NCAA Division II North Greenville University Crusaders in a non-conference contest at Hayes Gymnasium.  

North Greenville scored the game's first eight points before Reinhardt went on a 20-4 run, taking an eight-point advantage. The Crusaders came back to take a 26-24 halftime lead and never trailed in the second half, building a 21-point lead late in the contest.

The Lady Eagles shot just 30.1 percent (22-of-73) from the field for the game while NGU hit 43.5 percent (27-of-62). From the foul line, Reinhardt shot only 40.0 percent (8-of-20) and was outscored 19-8. The Crusaders had 53 rebounds to the Lady Eagles' 32.

Fabiola Toussaint came off the bench to lead the Lady Eagles with a game-high 21 points while Samara Billings scored eight in a reserve role. Kinsey Galyon added seven points and six rebounds.

Reinhardt is 0-4 overall on the year while NGU moves to 1-0. The Lady Eagles will host the Southern Wesleyan University Lady Warriors in their first home game of the season and Southern States Athletic Conference opener on Tuesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the men's game between Southern Wesleyan and Reinhardt to follow at 8 p.m.
