WALESKA, Ga. -- In an exciting game that came down to the wire on Thursday night, the Reinhardt College junior varsity men's basketball team dropped a close 74-71 decision to the Truett-McConnell College Bears at the James & Sis Brown Athletic Center.
Reinhardt led 38-37 at halftime before Truett-McConnell was able to pull out the victory at the end.
Eugene Parker paced the Eagles with game highs of 28 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals while Preston Powell added 20 points.
Reinhardt falls to 0-3 overall on the season while the Bears improve to 4-1. The Eagles' JV squad will host TMC again on Monday at 6 p.m.
