MARIETTA, Ga. -- On Monday and Tuesday, the Reinhardt College women's golf program hosted the Reinhardt College Invitational, its final event of the fall. The tournament was played in cold, windy conditions at the par-71, 5804-yard City Club Marietta.
Two Reinhardt players took part in the event, which included two NAIA teams and a junior college. Megan Lane paced the Lady Eagles by shooting 89-100-189 for seventh place among 12 golfers. Georgetown (Ky.) College won the event with 340-341--681 and no players in the tournament field broke 80.
Reinhardt will begin its 2009 spring season in February.
