WALESKA, Ga. – The Reinhardt College women's tennis team concluded its regular season at home on Thursday afternoon by losing a Southern States Athletic Conference match, 9-0, to the Auburn University at Montgomery Lady Senators, the top-ranked team nationally in the NAIA. The match was originally scheduled to be played on March 8 but was rained out.
Reinhardt drops to 1-8 overall and 1-6 in the SSAC while Auburn Montgomery improves to 23-0 overall, including 7-0 in conference play. The No. 7-seeded Lady Eagles will take on the No. 2-seeded Berry College Lady Vikings, ranked No. 7 nationally in the NAIA, in the first round of the SSAC Tournament on Friday at 9 a.m. Lee University is hosting the conference event in Chattanooga, Tenn.
