CLARKESVILLE, Ga. – Two members of the newly-formed Reinhardt College women’s golf team, under the direction of Head Coach Ken Dixon, took part in their first spring event on Tuesday. Competing in the 5th Annual The Orchard Spring Invitational, hosted by Piedmont College at The Orchard Golf & Country Club in Clarkesville, Ga., were freshmen Megan Lane (Cartersville, Ga.) and Gina Kim (Duluth, Ga.).
 
Lane shot 44-45—89 on the par 72, 5827-yard layout, finishing in a tie for ninth place among 26 golfers. Kim finished with 54-52—106 for 19th place.
 
Reinhardt’s next tournament is the 2nd Annual Piedmont College Spring Invitational next Monday and Tuesday at The Creek at Hard Labor State Park Golf Course in Rutledge, Ga.
