CUMMING, Ga. – Elizabeth and Laura Waite, midfielders from Cumming, Ga., have signed athletic grant-in-aids to attend Reinhardt College next fall and play soccer for the Lady Eagles under Head Coach Andy Kaplan. The twin sisters, daughters of William and Lavon Waite, are entering their senior seasons at North Forsyth High School, where they play for Head Coach Brian Adler.

“Elizabeth and Laura are both excellent additions to our program,” Kaplan said. “They are solid players and good students. I expect them both to strengthen our midfield next season.”

Elizabeth is a four-year varsity player at North Forsyth. As a sophomore and junior, she was named the Lady Raiders’ Offensive Most Valuable Player and to the Forsyth County News all-county team.

Laura has been a member of the NFHS varsity squad the last three years. In 2007, she received her team’s Coaches Award and was an all-county honoree.

The twins chose Reinhardt over Southern States Athletic Conference foe Brenau University, and NCAA Division II schools Georgia College & State University and Armstrong Atlantic State University.
