MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Reinhardt College women’s soccer team had its 2007 season come to an end on Tuesday afternoon with a loss to host Berry College in the first round of the NAIA Region XIII Tournament. Reinhardt, the No. 5 seed, fell 3-0 to the No. 4-seeded Lady Vikings, who are Southern States Athletic Conference rivals.
The Lady Eagles conclude their season at 11-6-1 overall after making their third regional tournament appearance in the last four years under Head Coach Andy Kaplan.
Berry, 12-5-3 overall, advances to play another SSAC member, top-seed Lee University, in a semifinal matchup on Friday in Cleveland, Tenn. Lee is 18-1 overall and ranked No. 1 nationally in the NAIA.
